Amazon Considers Reviving 'The Apprentice' with Trump's Son as Host
On April 30, The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon is discussing the revival of the reality show ‘The Apprentice,’ which was hosted by Donald Trump and helped him gain fame. Company executives have had internal discussions about potentially inviting Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., to host if a new season is produced. These discussions are still in the early stages, and Amazon has not yet contacted the Trump family. If the project moves forward, it will be available on its Prime Video platform. ‘The Apprentice’ was a major success when it first aired, with Trump serving as both host and executive producer. Contestants competed for a chance to work in his business. Sources indicate that the demand for the show’s revival has surged following Trump’s victory in the 2024 election. Notably, Trump posted an old article about the show’s high ratings on his social media last week, captioning it, ‘My last season of The Apprentice was unstoppable!’
