Lately, doing tasks on platforms feels a lot like clocking in at work: check-in, repost, join groups, take screenshots to submit assignments, and then watch the scores, afraid of being labeled a witch. Honestly, on-chain it used to be "who did it, who gets it," but now it's become "who can pretend to be real the best." Many projects turn incentives into KPIs, and in the end, it's not the product that's optimized, but how to bypass rules + make the rules look fair.

The witch thing is also quite awkward, like handing out eggs at the neighborhood gate; in the end, you can only check IDs, stamp, take photos, and those passing by actually find it troublesome and leave. The scoring system is similar— the more complicated it is, the more it looks like you're making excuses for yourself: high scores don't necessarily mean big contributions, maybe just better at gaming the system.

By the way, the water wars over NFT royalties are the same—wanting to give creators a living is fine, but forcing secondary liquidity can also drive people away. When incentives and punishments get too intense, everyone is only thinking about "how not to lose money," and there's no mood left to play. Anyway, I now encounter so many tasks that it's ridiculous, I usually just pass them directly to save my brain.
