The new L1/L2 launches and the incentive TVL looks great right away, but it’s also not without reason that old users complain about “mining, extracting, and selling.” To put it simply, the noise is just noise; what I care about more now is: where are the assets kept, who has the permissions, and whether I can successfully withdraw and exit when I really need to run. Last night, I temporarily got carried away and followed a few of the loudest people, but today seeing how they paint a rosy picture has me uneasy—so I unfollowed them in return… Forget it. Keep the position small; if I can cut losses, that’s enough.
