Just now I got itchy again and wanted to chase the rally, my mouse was almost clicking to confirm, but I pressed pause instead: Did I get some new information, or am I just being driven by the candlesticks and the group’s sentiment… Honestly, the easiest position to add to is the one based on “I’m afraid of missing out.”
Recently, everyone has been comparing RWA, US bond yields, and on-chain yield products, and I also feel tempted, but thinking carefully, no matter how beautiful the returns look, if you don’t understand the rules and risks clearly, you’re just buying into emotions. Anyway, my current approach is: if I want to impulsively add to my position, I first check out proposals/parameter changes on a certain platform, see who’s pushing and why… if I still want to buy after that, then I do it; otherwise, I save myself a night snack’s worth of money.
