Polymarket Reportedly Seeks Broader US Relaunch Through CFTC Talks

Polymarket is reportedly seeking regulatory approval to reopen its main prediction markets platform to US users, a move that would reverse a 2022 CFTC settlement that imposed a $1.4 million civil penalty. The report said any broader return would require a formal CFTC commission vote, while Polymarket currently offers only a limited QCEX-based US setup. A full relaunch would add competition in US prediction markets as both Polymarket and Kalshi face legal pressure.
