CoinWorld News reports that Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell expects the Federal Reserve’s transition period to proceed normally. When asked whether the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Trump administration’s attempt to remove Federal Reserve Board member Lisa Cook would affect when he leaves the Federal Reserve Board, Powell said, “I didn’t consider that before, and honestly, I don’t now.” He added that he previously served as a Federal Reserve Board member for six years and understands what that job is like. He said this will be a very normal, standard transition process.
