Crypto界 news: U.S. Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina said he is prepared to advance the stablecoin bill to formal committee review. Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, Tillis said, “I will ask the chair to schedule a review after we return. I think we have made a lot of progress, and it’s time to send it to the committee to move it forward.” He also noted that the issue of stablecoin yield has essentially been resolved, and that most banks’ concerns have been addressed. Tillis said that the remaining stakeholders are welcome to participate, but they must “cooperate in good faith.” The Senate is currently in recess, and the review is expected to take place in the second week of May.
