BlockBeats News, April 30 — Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell stated that it is important for people to be able to rely on the Federal Reserve, unaffected by politics. Ongoing additional actions threaten the Fed’s ability to fulfill its duties.
I will leave the Federal Reserve when I believe the time is right. I do not agree with the (Trump) administration’s approach. (When asked if remaining on the Federal Reserve Board was politically motivated) I do not think so.
The Federal Reserve must never become involved in politics; this is extremely important. I had planned to retire long ago, but recent government actions left me with no choice but to stay. (Jin10)
