The Federal Reserve held interest rates at 3.5%-3.75% today, but with a rare, historic 8-4 vote that saw the highest number of dissents since 1992.


Three members (Beth Hammack, Neel Kashkari, Lorie Logan) disagreed with including an "easing bias" (language signaling future rate cuts), preferring a more NEUTRAL stance.
Immediate Cut Demand: Governor Stephen Miran dissented to vote for an immediate 0.25 percentage-point rate cut.
