Fed Holds Rates at 3.5%–3.75% as Bitcoin, Ethereum Dip

The Federal Reserve kept its benchmark rate at 3.5%–3.75% on Wednesday, marking its third hold this year. Fed officials said developments in the Middle East are adding uncertainty to the economic outlook. CoinGecko data showed Bitcoin near $75,100 and Ethereum near $2,240 after the decision, with both lower over the past 24 hours. The Senate Banking Committee also advanced Kevin Warsh’s nomination to succeed Jerome Powell, whose tenure is slated to end next month.
