I found that whether grid/DCA is really good or not depends on one standard: can you fall asleep? Honestly, for someone like me who gets excited every time I open a position permanently, I basically can't sleep that night if I go all-in. My phone lights up every five minutes, and when I see the funding rate jump, my heart jumps along... The next day, I'm awake, but my mind is foggy.

Grid/DCA is like installing a speed limiter on yourself. Earning money or not is secondary; at least you won't want to change your plan just because of a single needle. Recently, there's been a lot of attention on large transfers on the chain and unusual movements in exchange hot and cold wallets, with people saying "smart money is coming/going." I also get itchy to follow, but jumping in usually just means emotional control.

Last night, I even had the impulse to exit the contract and uninstall the app, but I held back: I first cut my position to the lightest possible, set a stop loss, and turned off notifications. Anyway, I admit I can't control my hands, so I’ll control my sleep first. Light positions are really not just a slogan—they're a matter of survival.
