Just found out Messi actually has an NFT collection now lol. The whole Messiverse thing dropped on Ethernity Chain a while back - four pieces by this Australian artist Bosslogic who's done work for Marvel and Disney. Pretty wild that one of the greatest soccer players ever is getting the NFT treatment. Apparently this wasn't even his first time in NFT form though - they did a Messi NFT earlier to celebrate Argentina beating Brazil in Copa America, with him as captain. Honestly the Messi NFT space has been pretty active in the crypto world. Even Pele got an NFT collection on the same platform back in May. Not sure how many people actually know about this stuff outside the crypto bubble, but it's kind of cool seeing traditional sports legends crossing over into web3. Does anyone actually own any of these Messi NFT pieces or is this more of a collector's thing?
