Just realized Wells Fargo's ATM withdrawal limit is usually capped at $300 per day, which honestly feels pretty restrictive if you need actual cash. Been digging into this because I almost hit the limit yesterday. Apparently it resets at midnight, but that's not super helpful when you need money now.

The thing is, you can check your specific limit by logging into your account or just calling the number on your debit card. If $300 isn't enough, you can request an increase by calling 1-800-869-3557 or going to a branch. They'll probably ask why you need more, and they look at your account history and how long you've been with them to decide.

If you're stuck and need cash beyond your limit, there are workarounds. You can hit up a branch during business hours and withdraw more, get cash back at a store checkout (which usually doesn't count toward your daily limit), or pull from a savings account instead. Also found out you can use Apple Pay or Google Pay at their ATMs if you don't have your card on you.

On the deposit side, you can deposit unlimited checks and cash at Wells Fargo ATMs, though some machines have limits on how many bills they'll take per transaction. Check deposits typically show up same-day if you do it before 9 p.m. on a business day. Haven't had issues with holds, but apparently they can put one on if they want.

Fees are free at Wells Fargo ATMs, but using other banks' ATMs costs $2.50 unless you have a premium account. Anyway, good to know before you need it.
