Every time the chain gets congested, I think of a transaction I queued in the mempool: first it shows "Sent," then it waits endlessly, during which someone with a higher tip can cut in line, and even when you think you're about to get on, a wave of new transactions comes in and pushes you out... Basically, it's like an auction scene, don't treat it like a vending machine.

What's more annoying is that some product UIs look very calm, hiding the risks and reasons for failure like Easter eggs; you only see "Processing," without telling you that you're already stuck at the end of the line, or that you might be dropped from the queue altogether.

Recently, everyone has been comparing RWA and US Treasury yields to on-chain returns. I was a bit slow to react: I’m still trying to figure out why the same transfer needs three price increases to go through... The yields sound pretty good, but let’s not get stuck on transactions first. Anyway, when I see "low fee rate recommended," I can't help but laugh.
