Lately, the more I watch governance voting, the more uncomfortable I feel: a bunch of people delegate their votes, which I can understand for convenience, but in the end it turns into just a few addresses "representing everyone" every day. Frankly, governance tokens don't govern the protocol; they govern the laziness and fear of trouble of token holders. Then when something goes wrong, they start to hold someone accountable: cross-chain bridge thefts, oracle errors, and the group chat is full of "wait for confirmation"... By the time the confirmation is done, the blame is already shared, and the voting is still those few people clicking buttons. I see complexity as an enemy, so now I prefer to participate less, but every time I vote, I at least look at the proposal myself, so at least I lose with clarity.
