Just fell down this rabbit hole of the world's most expensive things and honestly some of these are absolutely insane. Like, there's a yacht called the History Supreme that costs 4.5 billion dollars. BILLION. It's covered in gold and platinum fittings and took three years to design. I can't even wrap my head around that.



Then you've got Mukesh Ambani's house in Mumbai, Antilia, at 2 billion with 27 stories, three helipads, and a 50-seat theater. Like okay, flex on us I guess.

But here's what really got me - someone paid 8 million dollars for a dead shark in formaldehyde. A SHARK. Artist Damien Hirst made it back in 1991 and apparently that's fine art now. Meanwhile there's a crystal piano worth 3.2 million and a watch with 874 gemstones for 25 million.

The most expensive thing in world right now seems to be either that yacht or some insane real estate, but honestly the shark might be the wildest purchase. What would you even do with that? ๐Ÿ˜…
