Just saw that Granite Point Mortgage is making a big leadership move - Ethan Lebowitz is stepping up as COO starting May 1st. He's been a Managing Director there, so it's an internal promotion basically. The current COO Steven Plust is handing things over but staying on as a Senior Managing Director until he retires sometime before the end of 2027. Pretty smooth transition setup if you ask me. Ethan Lebowitz taking on this role means they're betting on continuity rather than bringing in someone from outside. Interesting to see how these REIT leadership changes play out - usually signals they're confident in their current direction. Ethan Lebowitz's got some big shoes to fill but sounds like they've got a solid plan mapped out.
