Been digging into stock market research lately and honestly there's so many tools out there. If you're serious about investment research, TradingView is basically my go-to for charting—the advanced features let you catch patterns way better than most free options. Finviz is another one I keep open, especially when I'm trying to get a quick visual on market conditions. The heat maps make spotting trends pretty effortless.
For the reading side, I've gotten hooked on a few newsletters that actually make sense. Matt Levine's stuff from Bloomberg hits different—it's witty but packed with real insights about markets. If you care about the bigger picture, the Global Macro Playbook is worth subscribing to, and for emerging markets specifically, EM Dynamics breaks down complex opportunities in a digestible way. Professor Siegel's weekly commentary from WisdomTree is solid too if you want a solid market narrative roundup.
For podcasts, The Memo with Howard Marks is something I listen to when I want to hear from someone who actually knows what they're talking about. Market Moves by UBS is quick and useful if you just need a daily snapshot. Honestly, the best stock research websites and tools really depend on what angle you're coming from, but these are the ones that have stuck with me. What's your go-to for market research?
