Tangen Says AI Helps Offset Middle East Energy Inflation

Nicolai Tangen said AI is partly offsetting the inflationary impact of the energy price surge linked to the conflict in the Middle East, helping markets absorb the shock. Tangen said the price pressure has started to affect Asia and could spread to Europe and the US through higher prices. Tangen said financial markets have not shown major dislocations despite the inflation risk.
