Recently, I've come across a bunch of discussions about LST/re-staking again, honestly everyone is still focused on "more layers of yield." But where does the yield come from? It’s not falling from the sky; either someone is paying for security budgets/fees, or subsidies are burning money to increase TVL, or risks are being packaged into terms you don’t look closely at. Re-staking sounds like selling the same security twice; when things are lively, it’s called efficiency, but when something goes wrong, it turns into a chain of guarantees—no one should pretend to be innocent. By the way, the compliance conflicts in privacy coins/mixing coins are quite similar: on one side, they think "this is freedom," and on the other, they fear "this is a mine," and ultimately, the unlucky ones are often the ordinary people caught in the middle. Anyway, I now treat announcements as emotional indicators; if I really want to get in, I first consider the worst-case scenario and whether I can handle it.
