Recently, there has been talk again about sharding and parallel processing, and it feels like every market cycle needs a new "narrative." It's lively, but I still have my old problem: first ask where to put assets and how to exit. No matter how high the on-chain throughput, if contract permissions are a mess or a bridge has an issue, you can't escape. Not to mention some L2s and cross-chains—getting in doesn't mean you can get out; who understands that suffocating feeling of being stuck in a challenge period/liquidity?
The meme and celebrity hype are the same this time; attention shifts too quickly, and newcomers are most likely to become the last to jump in. Honestly, I’d rather miss out than watch others in the group shouting "It's safe" while I can't find the withdrawal button or the exit. I’ll keep quiet during governance meetings, waiting until everyone is excited, then ask: if you want to withdraw tomorrow, how do you plan to do it?
