Polymarket has reportedly asked the CFTC to lift the four-year ban on U.S. users from its main on-chain exchange. Chair Michael Selig, the agency’s only sitting commissioner, is positioned to decide the matter alone. The main exchange settles trades in stablecoins on Polygon, while Polymarket US remains a limited beta product routed through brokerages.
