Just saw Amazon rolled out this in-car delivery thing and honestly it's pretty interesting. Basically they'll open your car trunk and drop packages straight inside while you're not home. Sounds wild but I get it - way better than having stuff sit on your porch waiting to get snatched.
So it's only available for Prime members right now, and you need a newer GM or Volvo. They're testing it in 37 cities so far. You basically give the app permission to unlock your trunk, delivery driver does their thing, and boom - your package is sitting in your car instead of outside. No more porch pirates drama.
They already did the whole in-home delivery thing where Amazon workers can open your door, so this is just taking that idea to the next level. Kind of makes sense when you think about it - direct trunk delivery beats waiting around or going to a locker.
AMZN dropped like 4% that day though lol. Anyway, curious if this actually takes off or if people get paranoid about letting Amazon into their cars. What do you think - would you use this?
