Lately I've been debating whether to go with the mainnet or Layer2, basically: I want that feeling of "being more solidly settled on the mainnet," but every time I see the gas fees, it hurts a bit... The L2 experience is indeed smooth, moving around feels like walking on village roads, while the mainnet is more like climbing a mountain road—hard but reassuring.
I eventually learned to be smarter: I set a gas reminder and a single transaction limit for myself. If it exceeds, I don’t move; I just leave it be. At first, I was itchy, afraid of missing out on something; but after a couple of days, I found my mood much calmer. Anyway, opportunities will always come, just don’t empty your wallet out of impulse. As for the recent social mining and fan token "attention as mining," I find it quite lively, but it also seems like burning firewood too fiercely—bright flames, but smoky... I’ll just add fuel slowly.
