Bitmine Buys $294M More Ethereum as Senate Eyes Clarity Act Markup in May

Bitmine bought another $294 million of Ethereum on Monday. The purchase lifted Bitmine’s Ethereum holdings to about $12 billion, or 4.2% of total Ethereum supply. Senator Cynthia Lummis said the Senate will mark up the Clarity Act in May after an April markup did not happen, keeping a federal digital asset market structure bill in focus.
