U.S. Stock Market Opens with Decline in Cryptocurrency Stocks, COIN Down 6.98%
On April 29, the U.S. stock market opened with the Dow Jones up 0.04%, the S&P 500 down 0.07%, and the Nasdaq down 0.28%. NXP Semiconductors (NXPI.O) rose 21.7% on strong Q2 earnings guidance. Following this, ON Semiconductor (ON.O) increased by 6.4%, and Microchip Technology (MCHP.O) rose 4.8%. In the cryptocurrency sector, MSTR fell 1.80%; COIN dropped 6.98%, CRCL decreased by 2.48%; SBET was down 2.60%; and BMNR fell 1.91%.
