Aptos launched Confidential APT on mainnet on Friday, a privacy token pegged 1:1 to APT. Sherry Xiao said the token uses zero-knowledge proofs to hide balances and transfer amounts while keeping transaction verification visible. Xiao said auditor keys could support investigations after a governance vote, but business compliance integrations may take more time.
