Recently, I saw someone delegate governance votes to a "well-known address," claiming it's more convenient.

It saves effort, but essentially it’s like packaging your voting power and handing it over as chips to oligarchs...
In the end, who does the "governance tokens" really govern?
It doesn’t seem to be ordinary users anyway.

What’s more awkward is, whenever a cross-chain bridge gets hacked or an oracle malfunctions, everyone immediately starts shouting "wait for confirmation,"
but after confirmation, it’s still just a few big wallets making the final call.
The voting page may look lively, but once you press sign, it’s over—
it’s the same feeling I fear most: you think you’re participating, but actually you’re just giving authority away.
Delegation is fine, but at least don’t delegate blindly; check every now and then who you’ve actually authorized,
don’t wait until something goes wrong to start complaining.
