Stablecoins are the "value anchors" of the crypto market; without them, the entire industry is like a ship out of control in a storm.

Currently, the mainstream solutions are represented by USDT and DAI, both aiming to "peg 1:1 to the US dollar," but their logic is fundamentally different:

• USDT relies on a centralized institution’s promise, requiring reserves of equivalent assets for every token issued;

• DAI is achieved through a decentralized protocol, where users over-collateralize assets like ETH, and smart contracts automatically generate the stablecoin.

Essentially, they are a contest between "trust in company ledgers" and "trust in code rules."

Why are they indispensable?

During market volatility, stablecoins are the crucial "safe haven." Without lengthy fiat exchanges, users can quickly convert to USDT or DAI to temporarily avoid risks. They are like lifeboats in the crypto ocean, maintaining market liquidity and calmness. $BTC $GT $ETH
