I noticed an interesting trend in the crypto space. It seems that mainstream financial institutions are finally starting to take blockchain and asset tokenization seriously. Ripple and its ecosystem are clearly preparing for a major leap.

Here's what's happening: large investment funds like Aviva Investors have already begun experimenting with listing their funds directly on the XRPL. This is not just testing — they are using serious tools like escrow mechanisms and the DvP protocol (delivery versus payment). This means real financial transactions are involved, not just experiments.

What’s especially important is regulatory clarity. When government agencies finally understand how to approach crypto assets, institutional capital begins to flow seriously. And fiat money, which has long been on the sidelines, is now actively being converted into digital formats through such platforms.

The inflow into crypto ETFs has already exceeded $1.23 billion. This is no joke. These are real fiat funds that traditional investors are willing to risk on digital assets. By 2026, Ripple’s leadership expects mass adoption of XRP Ledger by institutional players — and judging by current movement, they are not mistaken.

Tokenization of real assets is not just hype. When fiat money starts circulating through blockchain with normal speed and transparency, it changes the entire game. Investors gain 24/7 access to assets, without intermediaries, with instant settlements. This is what the market has been waiting for.

The gross volume of fiat money that could potentially flow into tokenized financial instruments is simply enormous. And it looks like 2026 will be a turning point when this stops being a marginal trend and becomes part of the main financial landscape.
