I just saw news from the Singapore police - they have frozen more than 500 million Singapore dollars related to the money laundering case of Taizi Group, equivalent to nearly 2.7 billion yuan. Truly a huge amount. According to reports, three Singaporean citizens have been arrested since November last year, and recently they issued an arrest warrant for another female citizen named Trần Tú Linh.

The interesting thing is that Singapore has a very developed digital financial infrastructure, a wealthy population, but because of that, it has also become a paradise for scammers. In 2024 alone, damages from fraud have exceeded 1.1 billion Singapore dollars - and now fraud is being "upgraded" with AI and blockchain. Truly terrifying. I don't know how things are in other countries, but Singapore also proves that it’s not an entirely safe place for assets.
