The recent airdrop season has heated up again, and task platforms are acting like anti-witchcraft measures, making it feel like clocking in at work... But the busier you are, the easier it is to overlook a small detail: never give "unlimited" contract approvals. Basically, if you treat your wallet like a bank card, granting approval is like handing the house key to a stranger repairman and casually saying "Feel free to come in," which is convenient now but could lead to unknown leaks if something goes wrong later.

My current habit is: after interacting, I quickly revoke the approval, just like locking the door or unplugging devices before bed—there's no sense of achievement, but it greatly reduces the risk of "what if." Especially those small sites that temporarily boost points; I complete the task and then revoke, since clicking a couple of extra times is less stressful than crying over losses later. Sometimes I get lazy and skip it... but thinking about how there's no customer service on-chain, I still prefer to be honest.
