Are institutions Bitcoin more active now? A new way to earn yield on BTC has arrived!

$BTC
These two years, tokenized US Treasuries have been extremely popular, but the real "sleeping vault" of big investors—BTC held by institutions—has remained mostly inactive. Today, this development is quite interesting:

Mezo quietly launched an "Enclave," specifically for institutions to deposit and earn yield on their BTC. They partnered with Anchorage Digital Bank for custody, ensuring assets are not mixed or blindly rehypothecated, with each large holder’s BTC locked separately in a compliant vault.

How do they earn yield? Lock BTC to get veBTC, sharing the real on-chain fees. Lending with MUSD, cross-chain transfers, and on-chain liquidity sharing—these are active on-chain income streams, not some high-yield rebase tokens that are just hype.

The exchange Bullish was the first to jump in, injecting about 2,000,000 USD worth of 250 BTC as the initial move, and institutions are starting to participate.

But for us retail investors, this actually signals that: institutional BTC is shifting from hoarding and sleeping to actively generating yield. When these big players move, how will the market logic change?
