I now see that the contract immediately requires "unlimited authorization," and my first reaction isn't to click confirm, but to want to close the page... Honestly, this is like posting your bank card password at the door; just because nothing happened today doesn't mean it won't tomorrow. Revoking permissions is as important as sleeping: you can stay up a night or two without issue, but long-term sleep deprivation will eventually break you. Later, I thought it was pretty funny—I used to think revoking was troublesome, so I just authorized and then acted as if nothing happened. Recently, with the inflation in blockchain games + studio bots + the spiral collapse of coin prices, it made me realize that "habitual trust" is really deadly. When things are lively, permissions are given out; when things cool down, the wallet is still exposed and unprotected. Anyway, now I check my authorizations every few days; I’d rather click a few more times than save a little trouble.
