Do you guys feel the same? The moment I see a project say “audited” or “need to upgrade the multi-sig,” my hands get itchy and I want to rush in—but the more I look, the more uneasy I get… To be blunt, as a newbie, when it comes to credibility, I just keep an eye on three things: whether the GitHub is written by a real person (not a random blob of code dumped in), whether the audit report clearly explains “what was found/how it was fixed/what still hasn’t been fixed,” and with the multi-sig, who exactly signs it, what the thresholds are, and whether there’s a delay mechanism. Recently, everyone’s been guessing about the migration before and after that mainstream public chain upgrade, but I’m actually even more afraid of last-minute changes to contract permissions. No matter how solid the announcement sounds, it doesn’t help. Anyway, I’d rather be half a beat slow—once I see permission changes, I immediately reduce my position. If you get carried away at night, it’s way too easy to lose money on “trust.”
