Blockchain Association backs Fed plan to formalize removal of reputation risk in bank exams

Blockchain Association backed a Federal Reserve proposal to formally remove “reputation risk” from bank supervision. Ashok Pinto said the June 2025 change should be codified so it remains in place across administrations and cannot be used to debank lawful crypto firms. Pinto also said the Fed should align any final rule with similar OCC and FDIC rules finalized on April 7.
