Web3 security is now entering a new phase. CertiK has recently launched their AI Auditor, which is completely transforming security testing. This tool has been internally tested for over two years and is now available to everyone.

The most impressive part is its performance metrics. The AI Auditor was tested against 35 real-world Web3 security incidents in 2026 and achieved an 88.6% accurate detection rate. But it’s not just about the numbers; what truly matters is that the false positive rate has been kept extremely low.

Integrating security directly into the workflow is a major shift for the industry. Developers can now detect vulnerabilities as they write code, instead of waiting for the final audit. This not only saves time but also helps respond quickly to potential risks.

CertiK co-founder RungHui Gu said that this tool enables development teams to identify security issues early on. By filtering out thousands of false alarms, the AI Auditor highlights only critical, actionable problems. It transforms security from a barrier into an accelerator for Web3 teams.

Technically, the system is built on a multi-layered architecture. Multiple detection models run in parallel to ensure broad coverage, while a multi-stage validator filters out irrelevant alerts and prioritizes genuine threats. The system is supported by a regularly updated knowledge base that learns from real-world vulnerabilities and emerging attack patterns.

Rather than replacing human auditors, this AI Auditor is designed to assist them. It manages baseline detection and pre-audit triage, freeing security teams to focus on more complex vulnerabilities and protocol-level risks.

Diversity is a key strength. The AI Auditor can adapt to various programming languages, system architectures, and risk profiles, making it relevant for both DeFi projects and enterprise-level applications.

This is just part of CertiK’s broader AI-driven vision. In the coming months, more features will be introduced to integrate security more deeply into development tools and compliance workflows. One thing is clear: AI security is not just the future; it’s here now.
