I noticed an interesting trend — Joe Rogan's podcast has turned into a true media monster, and it's no longer just entertainment but a serious political and cultural tool.

His income reaches $250 million a year, making this phenomenon one of the most profitable media projects overall. But the main thing isn't the income figures from the podcast, but the influence it exerts. A three-hour interview with Trump last year clearly affected the course of the election campaign — Trump himself later mentioned Rogan in his victory speech. This is no longer just a large audience; it's a real political force.

Rogan created a format that works: long, uncensored conversations without filters. That's why people like Elon Musk and Jensen Huang come to him. There’s no mince, only honest conversation. In 2025, the podcast simultaneously held top positions on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube — few can achieve that.

The funniest part is that now the whole world is trying to copy this model. Chinese entrepreneurs like Liu Yanhao are creating long video podcasts on Bilibili, trying to replicate the same format. Apparently, they realized that the audience craves these deep, long conversations without any restrictions. It will be interesting to see who manages to repeat this.
