Solana Validator Clients Anza and Firedancer Add Test Falcon Signatures

Anza and Firedancer, two of Solana’s most-used validator clients, implemented a test version of Falcon, a post-quantum signature scheme for high-throughput blockchain use. The teams said Falcon can be activated if needed and is not expected to meaningfully hurt network performance. The move follows renewed quantum-security debate after researchers said useful quantum computers could arrive sooner than expected.
