Lately, I've been observing some interesting activity in crypto ETFs. In early April, about $173 million was withdrawn from Bitcoin ETFs, but Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust looked different – it saw an inflow of $10 million. Both BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC experienced significant withdrawals, each over $80 million. Most other crypto ETFs showed little to no activity.
Looking at Ethereum ETFs, the picture is mixed. A total of $7 million was withdrawn, but Grayscale's Ethereum Trust saw an inflow of $17 million on the same day – the largest. Meanwhile, BlackRock's ETHA withdrew $32 million. This suggests some funds are being favored, while others are not.
In the last days of March, Bitcoin ETFs experienced strong inflows – $69 million on the 30th and $117 million on the 31st. Then, withdrawals began in April. Overall, there’s no clear trend in crypto ETFs right now; funds are just moving around randomly.
