I'm seeing more and more people talking about quantum risk in cryptocurrency, and honestly it's a topic that should concern more folks. Quantum computing is no longer science fiction; it's a real problem that’s ahead of us.

What I found interesting is that Ripple is being proactive about this. They’ve already announced a schedule to upgrade the XRPL by 2028, and that shows at least some projects are taking this threat seriously. While many people are discussing the price of XRP, the team is thinking about how to protect the network for the future.

The truth is that most cryptocurrency projects still don’t have a clear plan to deal with this. Some don’t even acknowledge the problem. But Ripple is saying: look, we know this is coming, and we want the network ready before it becomes a real chaos.

This is the kind of thing that separates projects thinking long-term from those just riding the wave. What’s your view on this? Do you think other cryptocurrency projects should be doing the same?
