[Feature Stock] Panstar Enterprise, attention ahead of resumption of trading on the 30th… 1-for-2 reverse stock split with a reference price of 1,148 won

Panstar Enterprise has completed a stock par value consolidation and is about to resume trading on the KOSDAQ market, attracting significant attention. The core background of this stock price movement is the resumption of trading and the change in the benchmark price caused by the two-for-one stock consolidation.

According to the Korea Exchange, Panstar Enterprise has completed the consolidation of its par value from the current 500 won to 1,000 won, and trading will resume from the 30th. As a result, the total number of issued shares has decreased from 115,741,890 to 57,789,450.

The benchmark price on the day of trading resumption is set at 1,148 won. Rather than simply a matter of sharp price fluctuations, this adjustment is based on the change in listing procedures due to the par value consolidation. However, with the reduction in circulating shares, the market also shows an atmosphere of both stabilizing stock prices and expecting an increase in corporate value.

Previously, Panstar Enterprise approved this two-for-one stock consolidation at the shareholders’ meeting on March 26. Trading was suspended from April 8 to 27, and new shares were issued on April 11. The company stated that the purpose of this consolidation is to stabilize stock prices and enhance corporate value by maintaining an appropriate level of circulating shares.

Investors should also note that off-market trading will not be conducted before the market opens on the day of trading resumption. This is a measure implemented according to the regulations of the KOSDAQ market.

Panstar Enterprise was established in 1991 and listed on KOSDAQ in 2002. It is a company specializing in hydraulic technology. It holds over 60% of the domestic market share in automotive repair equipment manufacturing. Since 2016, its business scope has expanded to shipping-related fields such as ship leasing, supply of marine materials, cruise ships, and ship engineering.
