These days, the group keeps circulating screenshots of "a certain stablecoin losing its peg," and as I scroll through them, my heartbeat speeds up. Honestly, it's not that I understand the reserve structure better; it's that I understand the panic selling emotions too well: the more afraid you are that others will run, the more you want to run first. News about regulation and audits also float around, and the transparency sounds like a moral question, but in practice, it’s about "should I switch to a more secure one now."

Recently, I’ve been rephrasing my mindset: don’t try to conquer fear, just practice moving a little slower in it. Break your positions into smaller parts, try transferring some on-chain, keep some available liquidity... Anyway, when something really happens, it’s usually not the peg that collapses first, but people's hearts. As for me? I’ll probably just click refresh out of habit and pretend I’m writing poetry.
