These days, I've been discussing on-chain privacy and compliance boundaries. To put it simply, ordinary users shouldn't expect "on-chain = invisible."
The most you can do is expose less: don't sign with the same address everywhere, don't tie your social accounts too tightly to your wallet, choose routing options more appropriately... but if you're really targeted, the traces on the chain are still pretty clear when connected together.
People like me who have been caught in the crossfire multiple times understand better—if you get too anxious during a transaction, you might easily send yourself to the trending topics (whisper).
By the way, I saw that before and after the upgrade/maintenance of that mainstream public chain, people guessed whether projects would migrate.
My first reaction isn't "migrate or not," but rather: even if you migrate, don't expect switching chains to automatically make you clean.
Compliance pressures and data traceability follow the people, not the chain.
I personally trust data more; intuition often tricks me during FOMO, but data at least coldly reminds me, "You're about to be impulsive again."
For now, I'll review the routing setup again tonight—don't be the one offering warm hugs.
