Perhaps, the best for X is to: learn from the lessons of China Mobile and Feiliao—gradually give up revenue brought by SMS, prioritize building traffic channels & derive its primary income from traffic surges. X should > focus on social protocols, > open up data, allow third parties to tailor recommendation algorithms, meet the needs of a diverse community & build its economic loop. Rather than getting stuck in an awkward situation of one-sided reasoning.
