Today, on-chain data is "lagging" again, my first reaction isn't that the chain has crashed, but that some indexer is slacking off... Subgraph, to put it simply, is like a student copying homework; if you ask it urgently, it hasn't finished copying yet. On the RPC side, it's more realistic—when rate limiting hits, they just give you a cold shoulder: queue up. The most frustrating part is that the front end still pretends to be very stable, spinning around so much I thought my internet was down. Then I see social mining, fan tokens, that "attention is mining" scheme—laughing out loud, but also a bit annoyed—attention is indeed being mined, but the data still has to wait for it to slowly "sync." Anyway, now when I see delays, I take a deep breath first, don’t rush to curse the project, maybe some middle layer is just taking a nap.
