Recently, everyone has been talking about AI Agents automatically placing orders and interacting on the blockchain—hype it up as if you don’t even need to worry about private keys… But it actually makes me more anxious: if you hand your money to something that “moves on its own,” at least change the locks first.
My own feeling is: if your assets aren’t that big and they’re mostly for day-to-day use, a hardware wallet is like putting cash into a safe—it's a hassle, but you can sleep soundly. If the money is more, and you have to manage it together with others (like family members or partners), multi-signature is like having several keys to open one door—no one person should be able to go off the rails and click around on their own. Social recovery is more like “the key is lost—find someone you know to help you open the lock”—very human, but only if you truly trust those “trusted people.”
When the market gets frantic, I only look at the liquidation line and the risk-control thresholds. To put it bluntly, security isn’t about choosing the coolest option—it’s about choosing a process you can follow even when you’re panicking. No matter how smart AI is, don’t let it replace you in keeping your underwear safe. That’s all for now.
