CryptoWorld News reports that Amazon has released the Quick desktop application as a cross-application AI office assistant. The app stays resident on the desktop, connecting to local files, calendars, emails, and third-party tools like Slack, Teams, and Outlook. Quick's key feature is its long-term memory capability, enabling it to build a personal knowledge graph for users, remember preferences and business context, and proactively push to-do reminders and meeting-related documents before users even ask. New features include creating custom applications, dashboards, and web pages with natural language, real-time automatic data updates, and generating documents and images within conversations. Quick is now available with free and Plus subscription tiers, and users can register with an email address without needing an AWS account.
