BlockBeats News, April 29 — Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that it might be time to completely eliminate the saying “Sell in May.” This strategy originated from the 19th-century wealthy Londoners leaving the trading market during the summer, but it is no longer applicable in today’s 24-hour algorithm-driven markets.

Data shows that the S&P 500 ETF (SPY) has risen in 25 out of the past 33 “May to October” periods, with only 2022 being a decline in the last 10 years.
