I find that I am especially easily led by hot topics, like when a radio suddenly switches songs and says "Hey, this song seems really popular," I click in and start catching up, sharing, and imagining the plot, only to realize I actually didn't understand anything… Being a bit slow and still insisting on joining in is the easiest way to get cut. Recently, the NFT royalty dispute has been quite intense, with creators saying they can't survive without royalties, and liquidity providers complaining that the secondary market is stuck. At first, I thought it was a "stance issue," but then I realized, honestly, everyone just wants different slices of the same cake. Anyway, I’ve set a rule for myself: don’t jump in at the first sign of a hot topic, wait a night; if the next day the debate is still ongoing and I still understand the arguments, then decide whether to participate. Otherwise, just treat it as noise and let it pass.
